"The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."
Galatians 5:6
Faith Responders, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was established by laity and Global Methodist Pastors following Hurricanes Ian and Idalia. Our mission is to empower, equip and engage congregations to share the restorative love of God and offer Christ in tangible ways following through disaster response and recovery.
We collaborate with congregations, communities and other organizations to provide crucial relief and restoration in disaster-stricken areas. Together, we bring God's love and hope to affected communities, walking with them through response efforts to recovery and the new normal.
Volunteers are the backbone of our efforts, participating in everything from meal preparation, debris cleanup, chainsaw work to home repairs. We invite individuals, churches and groups to join us in various capacities to help families and communities recover. Volunteer today and make a difference!
